What does a conference producer do?

We are experts in being a combination of investigative journalist, sector analyst, and creative entrepreneurs. We get "the hook" that will bring the market to your next major conference and yield financial results year after year.

What can I expect from a conference producer?

Acting as a project manager they oversee the research and program production, marketing, sponsorship and sales of the event as well as recruiting speakers and on-site event management.

During the lifecycle of an event the producer will research the topic by making calls to industry experts and this will form the basis of the conference program. These calls will also help to identify and recruit speakers as well as gather information for the sponsorship and marketing teams. Although the sponsorship and marketing managers are responsible for making deals, the producer co-ordinates their efforts and provides information to help them. Once the program has been finalized, the brochure needs to be written and designed and again this falls to the producer. On the day of the conference the producer, with the event coordinator, runs the on-site management ensuring that speakers arrive and run to time. This is also a time to network with speakers and delegates to identify future topics and projects. Finally, the producer completes the budget and produces invoices which will be processed by the accounts department.
